Thomas is a business and estate attorney with Sussman Shank LLP in Portland, OR. He is a lifelong resident of Vancouver where he lives with his wife and two children and has been enjoying the Vancouver Farmers Market for years. When not practicing law or working with the market, Thomas is active outdoors running, skiing, climbing and biking. He is also actively engaged in our community and volunteers with Columbia Pastoral Counseling Center and as an adaptive skiing instructor for Shriners Hospital.

Mike works with the Fort Vancouver Convalescent Center and has been an active community member in Vancouver for some time. He is involved with numerous other non-profits on a number of different levels and has shown a strong commitment and dedication to improving our city. Mike also has years of food industry experience at all levels. Mike brings great organizational management skills and a very “can do” attitude to the board.
Immediate Past President
Naomi is currently the Manager of the Esther Short Umpqua Bank. She has worked with the market on numerous occasions over the years and we are excited to have her join our board. Naomi has a very strong interest in building community relationships and further aligning all the downtown businesses and events. She also brings over 15 years of banking experience with an emphasis on small and emerging businesses.
Joe is currently Vice President of Business Lending with Columbia Credit Union in downtown Vancouver. Joe has been serving on our Agriculture Committee for a number of years and has been a tremendous asset there. Joe hails from Guam where he not only began his banking career, but spent time on his family’s farm and developed a love for small farms and local food. Joe has a long history in finance and is a great resource to the board in that regard. He also has a strong dedication to the community and has served on numerous non-profit boards in the Portland Metro area. His experience in non-profit governance and with other successful boards of directors will be instrumental in the continued growth and development of the Vancouver Farmers Market.
