The On Site Market Manager (MM) is responsible for overseeing all Vancouver Farmers Market (VFM) on-site operations, maintaining and building vendor relations, managing On Site Market Staff and assisting the Office Manager in the development of the overall market organization.

The MM is well organized, able to handle a fast-paced, often stressful environment, able to take initiative and make quick decisions, and has excellent supervisory skills. The position requires the ability to work independently, yet know when to seek collaboration; someone who is capable of taking a leadership position, but able to follow direction. This high-profile position requires an individual with demonstrated administrative and people skills.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, pacesetter and leader with the ability to go with the flow. A Passion for local food and farms; knowledge of community food systems a plus. 

-Part-time(20-24 hours per week or more) seasonal position  
-Compensation depending on experience
